Dot to Dot festival has announced the second wave of acts on the line-up.

Joining Mystery Jets as co-headliners at the May event are Brooklyn indie-rockers Augustines, heading up a further 30+ artists revealed today.

Among the names are the recently reformed Mt Wolf, Hampshire's Blaenavon, who've drawn comparisons to Jeff Buckley and Wild Beasts, and dark dance poppers Nimmo, who'll be fresh from supporting Years & Years.

The eleventh edition of the annual festival takes places in Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham between 27-29 May, with the Manchester leg of the festival taking over venues around the Northern Quarter such as Soup KitchenGullivers and Night and Day

Today's fresh batch of artists bolsters a bill that already includes anthemic indie lot The Temper Trap, teen Danes LISS, and Bristol singer-songwriter Lauren Aquilina

The festival has a reputation for talent-spotting, with its bill always full of new and upcoming acts, many of whom go on to big things. Past instalments have seen performances from The xx and SBTRKT.

Dot to Dot 2016 is at various venues in Manchester on Friday 27 May, Bristol on Saturday 28 May, and Nottingham on Sunday 29 May. Tickets are priced at £11 and available via dottodotfestival.co.uk
