Clinic headline Liverpool Music Week Closing Party
The art-rock veterans will top the bill at a huge event across various venues in Liverpool's North Docklands area on 4 Nov
Previous LMW closing parties have been vast, sprawling affairs starring many of the city's best local bands alongside upcoming national talent, and this year's bash will be no different. Ade Blackburn's Domino-signed troupe will be joined by 26 artists and DJs in venues such as Northshore Troubadour, Muraki and the much-discussed Invisible Wind Factory, the latest venture from the Kazimier Productions team.
A celebration of Liverpool's music scene, as well as the DIY culture that pervades across the city's arts scenes and spaces, the party will also feature costumed electronic noise trio Barberos playing their debut album in full at their "spandex party" 50 Shades Of Pink, where they'll collaborate with members of All We Are, Stealing Sheep and more.
The line-up is completed by a.P.A.t.T., Asuzena, Bernie Connor (DJ), Big Safari, Bonnacons of Doom, Cavalier Song, Cavalry, Charles Haywood (DJ), Danye, Faux Queens, Galactic Funk Militia, Graham Dunning Mechanical Techno, I See Rivers, Lying Bstrds, Mamatung, OVVLS, Rongorongo, Sankofa, Strange Collective, The Aleph, The Floormen, The Shipbuilders, The Wicked Whispers, Upitup Allstars, VEYU and XamVolo, with stages curated by esteemed local publications Getintothis and Bido Lito! plus promoters Milk Presents.
