Wild Beasts have been announced as the headliners of FestEvol Gardens, which returns to Liverpool for a bank holiday special on 30 April 2017.

Run by local music promoters Evol and previously known as FestEvol, the festival has relocated from its former base at the Camp & Furnace complex to the Invisible Wind Factory, the latest project from the team behind the city's now-demolished and much-missed Kazimier venue.

With acclaim for their recent album Boy King still ringing in their ears, Wild Beasts will be joined by Madrid garage rockers The Parrots and eclectic London experimentalists Ulrika Spacek, with many more acts to follow. The full line-up will be announced in January, with an art installation and over 40 groups and DJs also in the pipeline.

Tickets go onsale from 9am, Fri 11 Nov, priced £25. For more details, head to the Evol website.
