Most important question first: Tell us about your show.

The show is called: The Boy Who Played With Fire, is based on my early career as a circus performer. There will be funny stories and some tricks, including something dangerous with fire.

What's going to be unique about this performance of your show?

Where else can you see a large tattooed Irish man semi naked and on fire?

Due to a lawsuit, you're forced to rename your show. What do you call it?

The Nipples of Death. (This would actually be a good title for this show; I wish I'd thought of that before).

If your show was a dear friend who had just died, what would you say about it in your eulogy?

I hope St Peter has a sense of humour and doesn’t mind swearing, cos some is heading his way.

What inspires you, other than comedy itself?

I base every day on a Tweet that I chose at random from Twitter. Whatever it says, I take that as my philosophy for the day. Today’s is “I ♥ Justin Bieber”.

Is there anything in particular that you're looking forward to about playing in Glasgow?

I always enjoy performing in Glasgow. Coming from Northern Ireland, I think we are the same sort of folk; we might like you, but we might kill you as well.

Where do you stand on Scottish Independence?

I am looking forward to standing on the Scottish border with my passport in my hand. Seriously, anything that winds up the English Tories is fine with me.

Who would get your vote as president of an independent Scotland?

Begbie from Train Spotting. Who would argue with him?

What's your favourite comedy festival in the world?

The Saudi Arabia “Laugh your head off” Comedy Festival. Held every April, they have decapitations in the daytime, comedy gigs at night. The amputees get into the shows for free; they are usually a good laugh, but a bit crap at rounds of applause.

If you were organising a fantasy comedy night, who would you have as MC, support and main act?

MC; Peter Sutcliffe, for a laugh I’d bill him as MC Hammer. Support act would be Frankie Boyle, as he is actually my support act for my Glasgow Festival Show this year. (I thought I’d give the wee guy a break). Main Act; Two Girls and One Cup, as they are famous, and being Japanese they would bring a bit of culture to the event.

Martin Mor 'The Boy Who Played With Fire' is at The Stand, Sunday, March 18. 7.30pm, tickets £8/£7. http://www.glasgowcomedyfestival.com/shows/#!/shows/247
