Most important question first: Tell us about your show.

With me, John Walker and Grant Gallacher it’s essentially just me and 2 of my mates messing about for 2 hours, but luckily the 3 of us happen to be comedians and we’ll be putting out our very best material. Also, we’ll be getting a special guest compere every night to freshen things up and it’s in a really nice venue so hopefully we’ve got all the ingredients to make sure the audience walks away happy every night.

What's going to be unique about this performance of your show?

There’s no daft theme or anything, we’re gonna be out there making the punters laugh for 2 hours and that’s pretty much it. We’ll be tailoring absolutely everything towards what the audience likes so hopefully every night will be an improvement on the last. That’s the plan.

Due to a lawsuit, you're forced to rename your show. What do you call it?

Wreck the hoose juice.

If your show was a dear friend who had just died, what would you say about it in your eulogy?

Lived fast, died young!

Is there anything in particular that you're looking forward to about playing in Glasgow?

I’m a born and bred Gleswegian, Glasgow influences the show so it’ll be great to perform it there as well.

Or anything you're dreading?

Pretty certain my Granny and Granda are gonna turn up.

Where do you stand on Scottish Independence?

What’s to debate? If Denmark and Norway can flourish without Sweden then why can’t we do the same without England. Plus, look at Ireland, even with it’s economic problems it still has a larger GDP than Scotland (can you tell I’m a boring economics graduate?).

Who would get your vote as president of an independent Scotland?

Oh so we’re ditching the monarchy as well? Brillaint! Give wee Eck the presidency I say!

What's your favourite comedy festival in the world?

My completely unqualified answer would be Glasgow, it’s made the effort to locate itself right next to me so I can’t complain.

If you were organising a fantasy comedy night, who would you have as MC, support and main act?

I’ll happily support Billy Connolly as headliner with Frank Skinner compering please :-p

Who else are you going to see during the Glasgow Festival?

I’m just gonna take people’s advice on who to see as I’m unbelievably clueless about the comedy industry. Definitely going to see my mate Darren Connell though as he’s always unpredictable!

Would you like to make a disparaging comment about the Edinburgh Fringe in order to appeal to the Glasgow public? (Don't worry, nobody will remember this by August)

Two words: Salt…and…Sauce. Sort your life out Edinburgh!

Regional current affairs. Fill in the blank space: Rangers _______ LOL

RANGERS will be paying their players with ‘gless cheques’ by the time the Glasgow Comedy Festival comes round LOL
