Utter Gutter's move from Friday to Saturday has been worth it, allowing the night to spread its legs and let Glasgow in for a taste.

Utter Gutter: a place for wonderful weirdos, in short. Utter Gutter brings out that person who just doesn't give a shit about what anyone thinks, dances like a demon, consumes every piece of madness going, and just loves great music. Atrocious weather and competing for the crowds with Club Noir meant for a slow start, but by 12.30am DJs Hushpuppy and Madame Sannex had got things going, and once up you couldn't have slowed it down with a gallon of horse tranquilizer. There's a real feeling of community here, a feeling that is spread to any new faces that might enter the party, whether dressed in casual jeans, full drag, or whatever your mum wore in the 60s. It is one of the few nights in Glasgow that truly appreciates the individual with a unique party spirit. The mixing can be poor at times, but this is more than made up for by pure enthusiasm for that party noise.
