Tracey Thorn - Raise The Roof

The second single from Tracey Thorn's rather excellent Out Of The Woods album, Raise The Roof, is a collaborative effort with Caged Baby's Tom Gandey. Expertly combining their writing and production skills, the pair merge a beguiling electronic soundtrack with the necessary hooks to create a perfect slice of electro-pop, triggering memories of early Eurythmics. Aside from the radio edit and longer album version and instrumental, The Caged Baby Mix ups the tempo into 'dance' territory without really adding anything new.
