Sequential Launch Night with Baron, Sequential, Studio 24, Edinburgh, 1 Dec

A new era for the Studios

Article by Jonny Ogg | 11 Jan 2007
Flat out party vibes abounded at one of Edinburgh's newest nights, and it seems that Sequential's launch may be the start of a new era of regular drum and bass for the Studios - and judging by the revelry happening throughout the building, it could be a match made in heaven. The launch was kicked off by residents Weak Hunt and Slowmotion Ninja, followed by guests Covalent, Special Ed and Professor Fresh who ensured the dancefloor was full from the start. The in-house MCs unfortunately lacked the skills, but they were joined by AJ and BZ, who turned on the style and gave both rhyme and reason for microphones being on stage. Respect goes out to Baron who has to be noted for his quick mixing style and flat-out gigs. He shot through a tight, jump up set and scored Sequential the A pass qualification it was looking for. There are big things to come from Sequential, and a whole new year to play with for the promoters. [Jonny Ogg]
