If it weren't for the Electric Eliminators bringing acts like this up here, we would have moved to London by now

And Benga said "Let there be bass", and there was bass. And the steppers, being witness to the bass, saw that it was good and grinned. The man lives up to every high expectation that is made of him beforehand: everyone comes with their own internal list of tunes they want to hear, and few are disappointed. Flame, Night and Live Drumz are all played out to an eager mass, but beyond ticking all the right boxes, Benga pushes a clear manifesto: make them move. A premier player with enough cred to get the best dubplates before the rest, he's also a skilful crowd pleaser with enough turntable savvy to know how to use them. If it weren't for the Electric Eliminators bringing acts like this up here, we would have moved to London by now. Bring on the LP, bring on a Dubstep Allstars mix, bring back Benga! [Jack McFarlane]
