Photonz @ Stay Plastic, La Cheetah, 19 March

Stay Plastic is a new night and the work of Chris Dardis, Grahame Ward and Richard Strang. Taking place on the third Friday of every month, the trio are hoping to promote an "anything goes as long as it's good" music policy. After a successful appearance from London producer Hot City in February, March sees them welcome Portuguese duo Photonz to the decks.

With releases on labels such as Andy Blake’s Dissident imprint, Dark & Lovely, Astro Lab and The Republic Of Desire; their Detroit style jams and classic sounding house grooves have been getting great support from record shops and DJs a-like.

Joining them will be local DJ, Martin McKay, the owner of a record bag that always seem to contain the most desirable but hard to find selection of tunes in Glasgow and this outing represents a rare opportunity to catch him outside his natural habit of Paisley’s Club 69.
