The clubbing scene in Edinburgh is set for a massive boost this autumn with the launch of a promising new series of nights, thanks to the coming together of house and techno promoters Musika and long-established bass music outfit Xplicit.

Beginning in mid-September and running through until New Year’s Eve, the Nightvision project will bring 50 big name electronic acts to play across a number of venues ranging from smaller capacity spots – such as relaunched favourite La Belle Angele – to full-size halls such as the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.

Full lineup details will be announced in the coming weeks but among the first head-turning acts to be confirmed are Russian house and techno queen Nina Kraviz, UK drum n bass duo Chase & Status and Radio 1’s Annie Mac. They join Karma Kid, Gorgon City, Bondax, Redlight and Hot Since 82 as the first names to be made public.

With a remit based around bringing together emerging talent and established global names, Nightvision's stated aim is to attract clubbers from across Scotland in the hope of bringing forth a renewed party vibe in the capital. Keep an eye on The Skinny's Clubs pages in the coming weeks for exclusive lineup additions and bookmark www.thisisourvision.com for up to date info as it emerges.
