Ambivalent @ Bigfoot's, 3 Dec

Now is the winter of our discothèque and on 3 Dec Bigfoot's welcome both the winter season and Ambivalent to the Art School. Gone are the summer parties at The Courtyard, instead the three bar is cranked up full pelt and fifteen tog duvets will be dished out at the door for the last Glasgow Bigfoot's of the year.

Having released records on M_nus, Esperanza, Leftroom, Clink and Klickhaus, New York based Ambivalent is something of a household name in flats where techno gets played absurdly loudly until an ASBO falls silently onto the doormat. Abstract, inventive, at times intimidating and always pounding, Ambivalent’s productions, from 2006’s Roomies EP to Down, released earlier this year, have proved him to be a consistently quixotic, refreshing and inventive party starter.
