Smirnoff Nightlife Project

Pack Slam and a bottle of Buckfast into a crate, the folk in Argentina won't know what hit them

On 9 Oct the unassuming gap that lies between the Sub Club and a Wetherspoons pub will be temporarily occupied by something far more exciting than illegally parked cars and gig posters. For a limited time Smirnoff will be bringing their Nightlife Exchange Project to Glasgow to allow locals the chance to submit their suggestions of elements of nightlife culture to trade with other countries. Fourteen countries in total are involved, with cities in the USA, India, Germany, Poland, Argentina and South Africa all taking part in the project which culminates in a cross-global nightlife exchange on 27 Nov.

So whether you reckon Pressure should move from the Arches and go on a worldwide jaunt, or Sensu should escape the darkness of the Sub Club and catch some rays, ensure you cast your vote this Saturday. The results of the crate's contents will be announced on 22 Oct following a decision by Radio 1's Zane Lowe, and voters will also be rewarded with a wristband to gain access to exclusive Smirnoff events throughout the month.
