JD Twitch presents a 92 Hardcore mix from the vaults for Numbers' 10th Birthday

This month we spoke to Numbers founder Richard Chater about the Glasgow-based club and label's 10th birthday celebrations. "It’s all one big moment really," he told us. "Ten years of being able to play and listen to the records you love alongside your pals and loads of other sound people is a hell of a thing." Earlier in the year we spoke to residents Jackmaster and Spencer about the Glasgow clubbing institution, on the eve of the crew launching their music festival, Pleasure Principle.

With a 10th birthday bashes in London and New York under their belts already, and more planned (see the Numbers site for details), their decade of dominance in electronic music has already been well toasted – this week they unearthed a rare mix by Optimo's JD Twitch, showcasing the sounds of the fertile 1992 hardcore scene, and shared it with the world. Their next Glasgow date is a Tweak-A-Holic Special on 22 December, at the Sub Club.
