The Bongo Club is currently gearing itself up for a very special one-off show from the renowned Wiley. Wiley is regarded as a godfather and mentor figure to many of the international grime scene's current superstars, such as Dizzee Rascal. With this in mind, The Bongo club is preparing for its walls to be fully lined. Wiley is one of those performers whose appeal spreads out far and wide, recognising no boundaries, be they musical, scene-set, fashion-set or simply people-set. He simply lays down good old-fashioned eski-beat and grime rhythms and then lets the vibes do the rest. This should be a night to remember, of thudding beats, jarring rhythms, clever lyricism, and all-out freaky dancing. [Jonathan Robert Muirhead]
