Focusing on a more retrospective and regional music policy, The Egg is the central ovum of three significant musical decades from the 1900s

The Egg is not strictly a dance club per se, but that doesn't mean you won't find dancing and nightlife frolics concealed within its four walls. Focusing on a more retrospective and regional music policy, The Egg is the central ovum of three significant musical decades from the 1900s: indie, sixties garage, northern soul, ska, punk, new wave, and of course, the seventies. It's a journey through a timeline of genres, guided by resident DJs Chris and Paul, and 2007 will be its 14th year successfully running! The doors are open to students, members, and member's guests, so becoming a member if you are not attending tertiary education is a jolly good idea to gain entry! [Alex Burden]
