Two of the Swedish house mafia pull out the big guns for Musika in March

Article by Sean McNamara | 06 Mar 2008
This event is sure to provide the Musika crowd with some of the best funky and deep house around as Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso play a combined set and a four-hour one at that. Steve Angello first came to prominence by releasing Woz not Woz alongside Eric Prydz in 2004. In 2005 he was picked up on the Subliminal label along with Sebastian Ingrosso and has since done remixes for the likes of Moby and Goldfrapp. Angello has been long-time friends with fellow Swede Sebastian Ingrosso and together they form part of the so-called 'Swedish house mafia' with Eric Prydz. Having grown up together running the best underground parties in Stockholm, their cache has risen dramatically over recent years and appearances across the world are now commonplace. Musika is now more than a year old and continues to work its hardest to stay at the front of the house seen in the city. Support comes from residents Derek Martin, Neil Bartley, Marco Smith, Jamie Mckenzie, and Adam Werbel. [Sean McNamara]
