Solescience Annual Bang Off, Cabaret Voltaire, Edinburgh, 12 Jan

January is traditionally a time when clubbers take a rest and try to rejuvenate the brain cells after the damage caused by festive shenanigans. As much as you may have over-indulged, put those notions of a detox on hold until after the 12th and make the effort to attend the Solescience Annual Bang Off (although we'll bet you'll still have a good time even if your round involves a glass of water and popping a couple of Berocca). Solescience residents Nick and Rob invite friends Barry Fell and Neil Bethune to the decks, and start a new Solescience season at Cabaret Voltaire with a bang. 2006 was a cracking year for the club, and saw the boys host The Greenskeepers and Greg Wilson amongst others - expect the same high calibre of guests, but first take this cheap and cheerful chance to hear the residents and guests in action.
