For those unaccustomed to the pleasures of skanking to heavyweight bass, this will no doubt be a perfect introduction

It's been over a year since Skream played in Glasgow and we've been waiting impatiently for a return. Since his debut LP Skream! solidified his reputation as the dubstep wonder-kid we've had a cancelled appearance at Indian Summer and a gig in the capital to push anticipation to breaking point. But come mid December the wait will be over, with Electric Eliminators confirming his appearance at their Fortified Sessions. He's a sickeningly talented and prolific young artist, carrying the weight of the media spotlight on the genre through a series of all-out anthems and his now seminal Skreamizm! series (the 4th instalment of which was one bass drop from completion during a recent interview with The Skinny). For those unaccustomed to the pleasures of skanking to heavyweight bass, this will no doubt be a perfect introduction. This is your weekend, right here. [Jack McFarlane]
