Octopussy, The Arches, Glasgow, 30 Jan

A night of fun, frolics and some good natured sleaze

Article by Sean McNamara | 06 Jan 2008

With a new generation of clubbers coming through The Arches for their continued crossovers of indie, dance and pretty much everything else, it's good to know that the venue has other branches to test out if you haven't already. Octopussy is definitely one of the nights, along with the likes of Club NME, that have successfully graced midweek in the cavernous regenerated railway arches. Appearing on the last Wednesday of every month, the venue is turned into a venue of fun, frolics and some good natured sleaze for the club. The night is student-focused and has all sorts of treats such as a jacuzzi, casino and swimming pool. Beach wear is encouraged, plenty of dressing up and dressing down happens and, incidentally, the tunes aren't bad either! [Sean McNamara]
