Noisia, Xplicit, Bongo Club, Edinburgh, Dec 15

Evil bass, rapid beats and deep rooted funk.

Article by Jonny Ogg | 12 Dec 2006
As we near the end of 2006, Xplicit brings us a Dutch invasion to see the year out. The long awaited Scottish debut of Noisia rolls in bringing with them the trio described as the "ultimate production team." Back in 2003 Noisia and Mayhem released 'Tomahawk / Silicon' on Glasgow-based Nerve Recordings, and have since gone on to release tunes on many other labels including Moving Shadow and Renegade Hardware. More recently Noisia have created their own imprint, Vision Recordings ('VISION' being the mirror image of NOISIA) with full on quality control in mind. This outing to the Bongo Club is one for headz who enjoy the darker, harder and much more tech-orientated side of drum and bass; evil bass, rapid beats and deep rooted funk. Joining Noisia on the night are Xplicit residents E.N.O, and the man who signed Noisia's first track, Paul Reset (back to back – 3 deck exclusive) along with GT (Kunninmindz) and MCs BZ and Tonn Piper. Get ready for a wave of destruction and a night of all-out quality assured beats and bass. The Skinny takes no responsibility for loss of hearing or bowel control. [Jonny Ogg]
