Musika/Ocean Terminal Summer Party Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh, 28 Jul

With their scenic outside terrace and long list of top class entertainment, this looks set to be a night with more than enough for any house fan

Ocean Terminal is getting itself ready for a new event, the Musika Summer Party. Fresh from their joint success at Hogmanay, Musika hope to run this as the summer sister of their new year bash, inspired by how popular the former party was. They're bringing in the talent of big-name DJ Erick Morillo and Australia's Dirty South to get things moving. Morrillo hasn't played Edinburgh before, and Dirty South haven't even ever been in the country, so it's firsts all round. There will also be support from Musika residents Derek Martin and Gary Bowman in the main room. Even if that doesn't sound like enough, they will be opening another four rooms. Some guests are still to be announced, but the night will feature Reel People and Copyright playing live, with Shovell on percussion in the Bacardi B-Bar. With their scenic outside terrace and long list of top class entertainment, this looks set to be a night with more than enough for any house fan. [James Blake]
