How's Your Party? Subclub, Glasgow, Thursdays

How's your Party? unites a broad spectrum of guests with some of Glasgow's best DJs

With a series of guests ranging from bass monster Spektrum to madcap turntablist Kentaro, and a roster of local talent including Boom Monk Ben, Jackmaster and Rustie backing it up, How's Your Party? looks like the finest place to be on a Thursday night. This month sees sets from Kid 606 (4 Oct, £3/5) and A-Trak and Mehdi (25 Oct, £5). At less than a fiver a pop, Kid 606 has to be the cheapest known way to fuck your brain sideways and his sample-laden, glitchy breakbeat coming up through the Subbie's floor will be utterly devastating. Mid-week clubs nights can be fickle business, and the Subbie's previous Thursday slot, Homebrew, kicked off by giving out fivers on the door. How's your Party? unites a broad spectrum of guests with some of Glasgow's best DJs, and if even that's too rich for your pocket, there's a free Subcity night on 18 Oct. Get down. [Liam Arnold]
