Headspin, The Bongo Club, Edinburgh, 14 July

One of the most regularly packed nights in Edinburgh returns with a Headspin resident special on the 14th, courtesy of The Resonance, Allan Dunbar, and Steve Austin, who will be taking centre-stage for a four-deck mix of hip-hop, funk, house, disco and electro. The suitably named percussionist, Bongo Dave, will be playing live, with extra visual projections from Alan Stockdale, cut-up and mixed in-sync with sets. Past Headspin guests of this year include Tom Middleton and more recently, Martin Brew, so keep your ears open for a melting pot of traditions, styles and tastes from the team.
