Garage & Jungle Special @ Flat 0/1, Thu 3 Nov

This Thursday, everyone's favourite, styled-as-'yer Gran's hoose' party flat brings Phonik with a selection of boppin' UK garage and groovin' jungle music to the dancefloor. With a massive DSR Soundsystem on hand for the occasion, best get prepared to boogie around the furniture.

Numbers: Hunee & Spencer @ Sub Club, Fri 4 Nov

Down to final ticket sales for this one, and with good reason. The Netherlands-based Hunee, aka Hun Choi, is sure to have Sub Club's dancefloor bouncing with his playful, innovative take on house. His Rush Hour Recordings release Hunch Music scored the number 10 spot in Resident Advisor's Top 20 Albums of 2015 poll, so that's your pre-gig listening sorted. Warm up tunes come courtesy of local favourite and Numbers co-founder, Spencer. £13 + bf; there'll be 100 tickets available on the door, so get down early.

SuperMAX Bonfire Night Disco Inferno @ The Berkeley Suite, Sat 5 Nov

The Supermax crew themselves best sum up their latest disco offering: "Yes that's right, next Supermax just happens to fall on Bonfire Night and as you know we have a penchant for disco fire, sparks and smokin’ hot outfits! Feed the flame and get down with the God of Disco Fire, DJ Billy Woods....it’s gonna be dynamite!" Doors 11pm, £8 on the door.

Festival Watch

It's November, the time when fantasies of faraway, sun-soaked paradises take hold with a vengence. The good news is that the lineup for 2017's Lost & Found Festival is announced this week. The four-day extravaganza runs from 13-16 Apr 2017 in St Paul's Bay, Malta and phase 2 early-bird tickets go onsale this week too – time to plan your next island getaway?

Now in its third year, Lost & Found will feature raves in a 500-year-old castle, boat parties in the Mediterranean Sea, and more than 75 DJs from across the world, curated by dance supremo Annie Mac. Leave your wellies and raincoat at home.

In Other News...

Dixon's December date at Sub Club was predicted to sell out like lightning, but if like others you're continually infuriated by ticket touts, you'll be pleased to note Sub Club's response in the aftermath of the ticket sales.

In a post on the event's Facebook page, their statement reads as follows"Yo Subbie Crew, we understand that people need to sell tickets for events that they are unable to attend. Plans change, it happens. Generally we are cool with it as long as the seller is fair, sells at face value + bf and doesn't try to bump anyone who has shown an interest in their spares.

"However, what isn't cool, in fact is a total dickish move is anyone who has bought a ticket for Dixon at 10am and is now trying to sell them for more than face value 6/7 hours later. Anyone doing this will have their tickets refunded in full. These tickets will then be added to the 100 tickets we have kept back for sale on the door on the night. In short, don't be a scalping snide hawk. It's not a good look."
