FEEL MY BICEP @ SWG3, Fri 3 Feb

As Bicep, the Northern Irish duo of Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar are going from strength to strength, evolving from Feel My Bicep bloggers to internationally acclaimed DJs and producers, with a thunderous live show to match. With a mega line-up that also features Job Jobse, Tim Sweeney, Ryan Elliot, Shed, Hammer, Jane Fitz and Thunder Disco, it’s little wonder that tickets for this huge Friday night show are scarcer than hen’s teeth. Our advice: keep an eye on Resident Advisor’s resale page, or get down super-early to try and grab one of the 50 tickets available on the door from 9pm. This is one five-hour banger you really don’t want to miss.

Supermax presents A History Of Disco @ The Berkeley Suite, Sat 4 Feb

The annual Supermax History Of Disco extravaganza returns this month, and as anyone who’s been in attendance before knows, this one ain’t for the faint hearted. DJ Billy Woods, aka Glasgow’s King of Disco, will be presenting a storm of disco hits past, present & future. As always, remember the Supermax rules to ensure optimal DISCO: the party reaches capacity quick, so get down early (doors are 11pm sharp) and the club gets HOT, so come dance-ready (£8 OTD).

Subculture: François K @ Sub Club, Sat 4 Feb

The godfather of house music is here – the legendary François K. From his beginnings at iconic NYC clubs such as Paradise Garage and Studio 54, the French DJ, producer, collaborator and label has left an indelible mark on dance music's timeline. His career has grown to encompass all genres; in 2002, he started touring along with Detroit techno legend Derrick May, playing sets together as the 'Cosmic Twins', and recent years appearances at the likes of Fabric, Sankeys, and Berlin's Tresor have endeared François K to a whole new generation of fans. This one is going to be special (£14+bf).
