Nightrave with Kode9, Solid Blake, Nightwave and Wardy @ La Cheetah Club, Fri 16 Dec

What do you get when you mix Nightwave with La Cheetah? A killer party night in the form of Nightrave, that's what. The final Nightrave of 2016 sees the club welcome Kode9, one of the leading pioneers of bass music, alongside Apeiron Crew member Solid Blake, with La Cheetah's own Wardy and Nightwave on support – and a 4am licence to boot (£10+bf).

Incept Winter Special with Dustin Zahn @ SWG3, Sat 17 Dec

"Too purist for the club kids, but not pure enough for the purists", reads Dustin Zahn's online bio. For nearly two decades Zahn has been releasing records on the likes of Drumcode, CLR and his own Enemy imprint, and he's certainly earned the title of techno fundamentalist. He's also known for his diverse sets and smooth techno mixing, and is sure to please fans of moody, dark, hypnotic tunes. Frazier & Nick McPheat and Raymond & Lindsay Green also make appearances, and SWG3 will have a 3am licence in place for the first time (£12.50+bf).

Subculture: Tama Sumo, Harri & Domenic @ Sub Club, Sat 17 Dec

Tama Sumo takes time out from her multitude of stellar residencies – most notably at Panaroma bar – to show off her skills in the booth at Sub Club this weekend, after putting in a popular show in Glasgow at The Berkeley Suite back in June. Tamo Sumo boasts decades of experience in the industry both as a performer and a producer; expect a huge night ahead, not least when Harri & Domenic take to the decks for the warm up (£12+bf).

Book Ahead...

Give your pals what they really want this Christmas - like tickets to a mega-anticipated upcoming show. There's a mammoth night at SWG3 on the cards on 3 February – Feel My Bicep brings together Bicep, Job Jobse, Tim Sweeney, Ryan Elliot, Shed, Hammer, Jane Fitz and Thunder Disco Club (£18+bf).

Meanwhile, tickets to KiNK's 8 April date at Sub Club have already been completely snapped up, and no wonder – as the unmissable live act has also just topped Resident Advisor's Top Live Acts poll for the second consecutive year. There will be 100 tickets available on the door on the night though, so put the date in your diary (and arrive early to try your luck).
