Substance: 10 Years of Ilian Tape @ The Bongo Club, Fri 17 Feb

Ilian Tape is consistently rated by Resident Advisor as one of the best labels in the world, reaching number 13 in RA's end of 2016 poll. The current tour takes in all the best clubs in Europe (Berghain, Concrete, Nitsa, Fabric, Robert Johnson) and this stop in the capital is their only Scottish date. The Munich-based Zenker Brothers will play an extended three-hour set, with Skee Mask also making his Scottish debut (his album Shred featured in loads of end of 2016 lists too) (£10+bf)

Deep Excursions with Tama Sumo @ The Mash House, Sat 18 Feb

Deep Excursions makes a triumphant return to The Mash House this weekend, with none other than longstanding Panorama Bar resident Tama Sumo. Joining resident Stephen Rodgers in the main room, the highly talented Sumo is renowned for her impeccable track selections and ability to switch seamlessly between genres. Expect house, techno, disco and everything in between (£10+bf).

Odyssey. X Late Nite Fever presents Ninetoes @ Bourbon, Wed 22 Feb

Worth venturing out for on a school night is this Wednesday night show at Edinburgh's newest nightclub. German-born Ninetoes started out producing hip hop, and arrived on the house music scene with a bang in 2013 with his massive Ibiza hit Finder. He's since been played by the likes of Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Jesse Rose, Luciano, Davide Squillace and Koze, and boasts a series of releases and remixes on renowned labels Saved, Suara, Noir, Mobilee, Play It Down, Atlantic Jaxx, This & That, Toolroom, Stereo Productions, Snatch and Roush (£5+bf).
