Dreadzone @ Ironworks, 11 Dec

"Britain today is a powerhouse of ideas, experiments, imagination."

Article by Anna Seale | 26 Nov 2009

The summer has been a busy one for Dreadzone, with the festival season allowing the group to grace the stages of places from Glastonbury to Oxegen, Cropredy to Beautiful Days as well as festival shows in Croatia, Belgium, Poland, Austria and Greece. Dreadzone have had a six album career which has spanned the credibility of a Creation Records release, major moves on Virgin and independent support on Functional and Rufflife. Once cited by John Peel as having recorded one of his 10 favorite albums of all time (1995's Second Light), Dreadzone recorded six Peel Sessions and the top 20 hit from that album, Little Britain, later acquired classic status. Catch them live at The Ironworks in Inverness as part of their ongoing tour. [Anna Seale]
