The Warehouse Project: Bugged Out!

Bugged Out! return to Manchester with their curated WHP night that sees Dusky (live) joined by Jackmaster and Joy Orbison (b2b set), along with Daniel Avery, Jeremy Underground, Jimmy Edgar, Paul Woolford, Artwork, Avalon Emerson, Mella Dee, Holly Lester and Lemmy Ashton.

Sonic Sahara Showcase: Red Greg and Charlie Bones
The Deaf Institute, 30 Sep, 11pm, £6

If you listen to NTS Radio's breakfast show every morning you'll be as in love with Charlie Bones as all here at The Skinny. Take this opportunity to party for realz with the London selector, joined by Floating Points collaborator Red Greg, known for his Ebonite parties and consistent picks.

Inside Out with Intergalactic Gary

Do you really need to know more than the name? The Netherlands' boldest interstellar traveller makes a rare UK appearance, flanked by Inside Out pair Mike O'Mara and Chris Feinmann. 

Modern Love showcase

We've been looking forward to this one for a while... Several of Manchester's darkest practitioners assemble for an evening of haunted audio and sonic excavations; of course, we could only be talking about Andy Stott and Demdike Stare, who are joined tonight in a Modern Love label showcase by Equiknoxx, Low Jack, Acre, Conor Thomas and Szare.

Reform Radio takeover with Mr Beatnik and more
Islington Mill, 1 Oct, 10pm, £5-£7.50

Manchester-based radio station Reform have been broadcasting for one whole year, so they're throwing a party to celebrate – and they've invited some of their favourite selectors along, including Ruf Dug and Mr Beatnick.

Hidden presents Blawan and James Ruskin
Hidden, 1 Oct, 10pm, £5-£15

There's a fierce night in store at Hidden from venue favourite Blawan joined by James Ruskin, a cornerstone of UK techno.

Mr. Scruff Keep It Unreal
Band on the Wall, 1 Oct, 10pm, £12 

No less than a DJ mastermind, Scruff needs no introduction; known for playing marathon sets and mixing a junk-shop bag of sounds, he brings his beats to life with squiggly, scribbled animations.

Kowton
Soup Kitchen, 29 Oct, 11pm, £10 

Since rising to prominence with Bristol-based crew Livity Sound, Joe Cowton – aka Kowton – has dovetailed his wide-ranging sonic explorations into a focused debut LP, Utility. He brings his trademark spartan rhythms embellished with colour and melody to Manchester this October, supported by Boomkat's Conor Thomas and Utrecht's A Made Up Sound.
