Don't-miss clubs this week

Hustle 4th birthday @ 24 Kitchen Street, 17 Dec

One of the 'Pool's most reliable parties celebrate their fourth birthday with Mood II Swing (Strictly Rhythm/Defected) and the in-house crew: James Morgan, Jimmy Allen & And Ash. We thought they'd been around a lot longer than just four years – which should be taken as a compliment. From 10pm, £12

Shit Indie Disco's Shit Christmas Party @ 24 Kitchen Street, 23 Dec

How many times have you heard Fairytale of New York this season? According to Shit Indie Disco, not enough: they're going to play it on the hour, every hour, at their Shit Christmas Party. As you get drunker, no doubt you'll get weepier. Beyond that expect all the usual classic noughties indie fare enabling one final pre-Chrimble blowout, complete with tacky decorations and shit loads of tinsel. From 9pm, £5

Liverpool Disco Festival Boxing Day special @ Constellations, 26 Dec

NYC legend John Morales and underground disco spinner Sadar Bahar (in his Liverpool debut) should prove as good an indigestion cure as any. Pack a turkey sarnie, it starts at 5pm. £8

Mr. Scruff Boxing Day special @ The Merchant, 26 Dec

When champion Manc selector Mr. Scruff put together an alternative Christmas playlist for The Skinny last year, he chose everything from 'Perky Ghanaian funk in a James Brown style' to a slice of 80s dancehall 'considerably heavier than your average Cliff Richard offering'. Who else would you want to sweat those figgy pudding pounds off with on Boxing Day? Fortunately for you, the man's at The Merchant on the 26th for a special edition of his iconic club night Keep It Unreal with No Fakin's Illson in tow. From 9pm, £12

Modu:lar Boxing Night Beginnings with Rhadoo, Julian Perez & more @ New Bird Street Warehouse, 26 Dec

Also in Liverpool on the 26th, promoters Modu:lar celebrate their first Christmas (n'aw) at Buyers Club with extended sets from Romanian techno artist Rhadoo, Fathers and Sons label boss Julian Perez and residents Nerram and Brennan. From 9pm, £20
