Leeds club promoters ALTER celebrate their second year of putting on tripped-out parties with DJ, producer and sound designer Peter Van Hoesen on hand to offer a truly immersive journey through the more psychedelic layers of techno, plus reliable resident Animist. From 11pm, £12

mono_cult 10th birthday @ Canal Mills, 4 Mar 

Already on its way to selling out, book ahead for this landmark birthday for Leeds promoters mono_cult, who're coming out of retirement for a one-off party celebrating a decade of existence (who can blame 'em?). It's a solid line-up too, with Berlin's Panorama Bar resident Soundstream on Chicago house/raw jams duty, taps-aff stalwarts Bicep, soundscapey duo Tale of Us, 90s house veterans Mood II Swing and more.
