Arif Mardin just destroys this.
6. Rare Bird - As Your Mind Flies By (El)
Just a great sounding record, simple.
7. Raw Silk - Do It to The Music (GDC)
Super tasty late disco track.
8. The Impressions - 7 Years (Spectrum)
Classic, heartbreaking tune by the guy who inspired me to sing.
9. ZZ Top - ZZ Top's First Album (Warner)
This is like the funkiest southern rock record of all time, maybe?
10. The Doobie Brothers - What a Fool Believes (Warner)
Oh man, that chord progression in the verse gets me every time. It's so badass.
