First Look: Wild Target

This kitschy British heist comedy stars Emily Blunt, Bill Nighy, Martin Freeman and - somewhat incidentally - Harry Potter's pal Rupert Grint.

Wild Target's utter silliness makes it charming, with Emily Blunt as a feisty criminal who sells fake Rembrandts and Monets. Contracted to kill, Bill Nighy becomes inexplicably soft, choosing to disobey orders. Rather than killing the ditzy criminal, he protects her.

With Rupert Grint in tow as his diffident aide, they are soon on the run from Nighy's gun-toting replacement, Martin Freeman.

Roles are reversed in this screwball comedy, with Nighy as the gentle gunslinger while Freeman gives the evil assassin character a stab.

True to its name, the Wild Target is its success.
