Pixie Lott inspired by Brigitte Bardot
Pixie Lott’s fashion inspiration is Brigitte Bardot.
The 18-year-old singer loves the 75-year-old model-and-actress’ dress sense, and aims to recreate her sexy yet sophisticated look when she goes out. Pixie enjoys mixing up different styles of clothes, and can often be found in hippy-inspired garments during the day, and vampy outfits in the evening.
“I love Brigitte Bardot for her glamorous femininity and a look that was always simple yet still incredibly sexy,” she said. “And Edie Sedgwick for a funky 60s look that really stood out – not many people can pull off opaque tights, leotards and dangling earrings all together, but it is fun to mix parts of her style in with your own look. Overall, I like classy fashion with an edge.”
Pixie is a huge fan of vintage fashion and can often be found rooting through market stalls and second-hand shops looking for a bargain. Her favourite dress is a vintage piece her mother owns.
She told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “Because it’s stunning and creates an instant sense of glamour, I have to say my favourite outfit is my mum’s old vintage white, short, backless dress.”
