Peter Andre attracted to "wild girls"

Peter Andre has always been attracted to “wild girls”.

The singer’s divorce from Katie Price was recently finalised and he admits it’s not the first time he has fallen for someone who loves partying and being in the limelight.

“My problem is that I have always had this thing for wild girls,” he says. “Back then I thought I understood Katie. I was sure that deep down there was this girl who was a mother, who wanted a family. And I thought she was gorgeous.”

Peter says he will always have a bond with the glamour model for the sake of the three children they raise together – seven-year-old Harvey, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii. The 36-year-old star is no longer attracted to his ex-wife, but is willing to put their differences aside to make his kids happy. “I will always love her as the mother of my children. But that is it. I am not in love with her,” he insists.

Peter was raised by Greek parents who were strict Jehovah’s Witnesses. He is very close to his family and hated telling them he had left Katie in May after three-and-a-half years of marriage.

“The hardest thing about the whole situation wasn’t when I had to leave Katie but when I rang mu mum and dad to tell them. I thought I’d failed. I’d been brought up in a faith that didn’t acknowledge divorce unless for extreme reasons,” he said.
