Angelina Jolie has revealed she wants to adopt a baby from Syria.

The Hollywood actress already raises six children - Maddox, eight, Pax, five, Zahara, four, Shiloh, three, and 16-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox - with her partner Brad Pitt. But while the actor is said to be happy with their family as it is, Angelina is reportedly desperate to adopt a little girl from the Middle Eastern nation. Friends say she has already started the paperwork, and plans to adopt the child alone if Brad won't support her.

An insider told America's OK! magazine: "Brad has made it clear that six children are more than he can handle. The idea of one more seemed ludicrous, but Angelina is determined to complete her rainbow family."

It wouldn't be the first time Angelina, 34, has adopted by herself. Her name appeared alone on Maddox's adoption papers, even though she was married to Billy Bob Thornton at the time.

Zahara and Pax were adopted by both her and Brad.

  • i don't understand why Angelina is so much obsessed of "collecting" children. i really doubt she have time to take care of them and i really wish the child care societies are keeping a eye on Angelina on this matter.on one hand Jolie shows her concern for society by charity and speaking speeches but on the other hand when one of the reporter asked for her opinion on Osama's death at Cannes 2011 where she was promoting her upcoming movie kung fu panda 2(http://www.moviesorb.com/kung-fu-panda-2-movie-online) she denied to answer.
