Mixed Bizness: Thunderheist @ Glasgow School of Art, 14 May

Article by David McNamara | 06 May 2009

Lock up your children, Canada’s Thunderheist are coming to compromise Glasgow’s young and impressionable with their glorious brand of sleazy electro house. The filthy minded duo are in town to promote the release of the self titled debut album and it’s a safe bet that things are going to get explicit.

Dirty boys and naughty girls will be flocking to the Art School to listen to the lewd imagery sultry rapper MC Isis evokes with her velvet smooth vocals. This woman makes Pharrell Williams sound like a self conscious repressed schoolboy. Better buy some contraceptives and put on some sexy underwear before you attend this show because chances are you won’t be going home alone.

11pm-3am, £3 (£4 ADV) GSA students free before midnight, £1 after
