The Automatic - Not Accepted Anywhere

What's that coming over the hill? It's a blooming fine album, thank you very much.

Album title: Not Accepted Anywhere
Artist: The Automatic
Label: B-Unique
Young Welsh upstarts The Automatic should not be so hard on themselves; I've no doubt this album will be accepted in most places - it's really quite good. Previous singles Raoul and Revolver are toe-tapping-tastic whilst current single Monster is perhaps the to-be-declared song of the summer, an absolute belter. Their reputation as thrilling live act is captured throughout much of 'Not Accepted…' with a high tempo retained across much of the record. There's something pretty exciting going on here, with some real ability and originality evident in the interesting arrangements and vocals, and all this whilst retaining a sense of fun – definitely a winning combo.
