A small time burglar gets more than he bargained for when he breaks into a house and discovers a bloodthirsty lunatic already preying on the defenceless family. But that's not all – the whole house has been rigged with devilish traps that put the Saw series to shame. Can anyone make it out of there alive?

The Collector shows a lot of potential as a new horror star. He’s a mute psycho in a mask who, like a funnel-web spider, drives his victims further and further into his web. And that’s where the fun begins!

Writer/Director Marcus Dunstan’s work on the Saw sequels was good practice for what is some of the most fiercely inventive and twisted trap-based bloodletting we've had in ages. It’s exhilarating stuff that has to be seen to be believed. Whether the concept is enough to fuel a new horror franchise is less certain, but this is a gloriously nasty and nerve-shredding thrillride for gorehounds.
