Feature by News Team | 17 Mar 2015

Public nominations for the shortlist for this year’s Turner Prize have opened, while the dates for the shortlisted artists’ exhibition at Glasgow’s Tramway have also been announced.

You can vote for any British artist under the age of 50 who has produced 'an outstanding exhibition or display' since April 2014, with the Turner Prize jury drawing their shortlist from the listed nominees – make your nomination at the Tate Britain website here

Last year’s Turner Prize was won by Glasgow School of Art graduate Duncan Campbell for his contribution to the Scotland+Venice programme at the 2013 Venice Biennale, beating fellow GSA alumni Ciara Phillips and Tris Vonna-Michell to the £25,000 prize.

The Turner Prize exhibition at Tramway, featuring work by this year’s four shortlisted artists, will run from 1 October 2015 to 17 January 2016. Nominations for the 2015 Turner Prize close at 6pm on 13 April; the prize itself will be awarded at Tramway on 7 Dec.
