Richmond Park

Richmond Park is an oasis in the east end of Glasgow. Green, leafy and surrounded by water, it’s a gem which is often overlooked in favour of Glasgow Green, Kelvingrove and the city’s other big-name parks. There’s lots to love about Richmond Park, from the model boat club sailing their ships on the pond, to the masses of ducks, swans and geese milling around the place. Situated just south of the Clyde in Oatlands, the park is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the city centre, connected by a footbridge over the Clyde. So there’s really no excuses not to go east.
