Howlin' Wolf

Just along the road from its popular big sister bar Slouch, Howlin’ Wolf takes over the underground den of the former Monkey Bar. Inspired by the old man of blues, Howlin’ Wolf is a self-proclaimed juke joint. There might not be any gambling here, but there’s drinking, there's dancing and music a-plenty.

The venue is as sleek, chic and funky as any good blues house should be, with a bar made from granite, tiled ceilings, and tempting red booths. Adding to the dimly-lit ambience is the playlist, which features blues (obvs) but also a mixture of indie, rock‘n’roll, jazz and funk – basically, if you can groove to it, they’ll be playing it! A plethora of live bands can also be expected. Food is served until 2am, with the extensive menu offering feel-good favourites – or skip straight to their custom-made cocktail menu, featuring drinks named for the eponymous bar mascot and all his bluesy pals.
