Sandeman House Garden belongs to the Scottish Book Trust and is just off the Royal Mile, before John Knox House. Head down Trunks Close and you will find this secluded spot which is open to the public during the day. It's a gorgeous spot, just a stone's throw from the High Street, and ideal for relaxing with a book or having a spot of lunch.
