The place may be cosy, but it is stuffed to the brim with rare and firey treats – if you're one for the spice, you're in good company. The shelves are stocked high with hot sauces, tinned beans and over 35 types of tequila – that's 35 types of instant mojo! There's also an equally impressive range of candy and baking supplies from over the pond, as well as a chilled cabinet offering freshly prepared salsa, guacamole and cooking chorizo if you're looking to cook up a storm sans your average supermarket fare. 

Pintos' even hosts a now-infamous Chilli Cook-Off in both Glasgow and Edinburgh (usually held in October). This annual madness sees hundreds of culinary adventurers tour their respective cities' participating restaurants in search of the perfect variation on the Tex-Mex classic, replete in sombreros and moustaches, obviously.
