Vittoria on the Bridge

An Italian's Italian, the ever popular Vittoria's never fails to please. It has a sister restaurant in Leith – with both easily catering to large groups and sharing the same menu of gargantuan proportions. There's an impressive range of Scottish beefsteaks, chicken and fish options alongside the more expected Italian classics. But whereas a broad variety of dishes can sometimes be indicative of lesser quality, here one can blissfully eat one's way through the entire menu and never feel far from Italy. The half-and-half arrangement of pizza and pasta is also a wee stroke of genius, and a good place to start.
