For those unfamiliar with the notion of bubble tea, allow us to explain: it is a sweet milk or fruit-based tea served with tapioca boba... and it's very popular.

Tempo Tea Bar are relatively big hitters on the scene, with two branches in Glasgow and a newly established branch in Edinburgh. Whether you swear by the stuff or whether you've never touched a cup in your life, you'll enjoy the range on offer here. The menu splits itself into five sections: tempo (size), melody (flavour), base line (tea base), rhythm (style) and harmony (topping).

As confusing as this may sound, it's actually incredibly well presented and allows for ease of selection whilst simultaneously offering a huge amount of variation. Prices are reasonable, with an extra large cup coming in at below £4. Tempo Tea Bar offers an energetic, friendly and fun atomsphere, it is no wonder it ramins a mainstay in Glasgow and is already making waves in Edinburgh.
