Maki & Ramen Fountainbridge

Over recent years, Maki & Ramen have been spreading their wings over Edinburgh's Southside with their popular yet pleasingly low-key Japanese food bars.  First, it was their ramen shop on West Richmond Street.  Then it was the dinky Maki Maki sushi bar on Nicolson Street.  Now, they've opened their third and largest venue on Fountainbridge, and it's the perfect situation to catch those hungry officey types during their lunch hours, as well as those looking for pre-show grub, with both Cineworld and King's Theatre just minutes away.

The new venue, Maki & Ramen Omakase, has an inviting interior, with a slick and contemporary Japanese vibe and the choice of either private tables or a seat at the centrepiece sushi bar.  

Customers can expect the same calibre of cuisine as with their other restaurants - after all, head chef and owner Ramen learned his tricks of the trade at the Yamato Japanese Ramen school in Singapore! - and there's a tantalising mix of Asian delicacies to sample from the menu, from traditional sushi options like sashimi and nigiri to yummy gyoza and teriyaki dishes.  Stuck for choice?  Why not go for a fixed price twelve course tasting menu and try them all?!
