The Franklin Rock'n'Roll Club

The Franklin Rock’n’Roll Club on Leith Links is a small club with a big sound. Specialising in rock’n’roll, of course, the club presents at least two live bands every month in addition to their vinyl-spinning DJs. From the DJs, expect everything and anything rock’n’roll, from The Beach Boys to the Sex Pistols. For its live acts, The Franklin aims to host the best UK and international rock’n’roll bands on its stage - just some of those who have played the club include The Thanes, The Masonics and The Bonnevilles - but the club also likes to nurture new talent, with local up-and-coming combos also regularly taking the stage. Basically, if they’re any good at rocking and rolling, they’re bound to be there. The venue pays special attention to both old and new exponents of the genre and is well versed in the art of getting toes a’tapping. Also, be sure to keep a look out for the annual Franklin Fest, which showcases over a dozen UK up-and-coming rock'n'roll bands at The Franklin for one epic weekend of music.
