Ryrie's

Confidently proclaiming that they're not just your average train station pub, the Haymarket based Ryrie's is keen to distance itself from the notion that they're a musty, velvet clad boozer. And quite right too! The interior is less green booths and cardboard coasters, and more Scottish chic. Gorgeous leather sofas with tartan trims, cosy woodwork and big old windows, this place is a bit like a Scottish townhouse which happens to serve pints.

The venue often doubles up as a free comedy venue with the help of Laughing Horse during the fringe. It hosts a big pile of up-and-coming comics and those making their fringe debuts.
